PGRD is the largest private pharmaceutical research organization in the world. More than 12,500 expert researchers employ the most modern research equipment to find solutions to today's most pressing medical challenges.

In addition to the search for new chemical elements with therapeutic effect, PGRD watches closely to ensure that all clinical and legal standards are observed.

Several of the largest research campuses are located in Ann Arbor Michigan (USA), Fresnes (France), Groton Connecticut (USA), La Jolla California (USA), Nagoya (Japan), Sandwich (England), and New London Connecticut (USA, also the headquarters). In addition, there are scores of smaller centers throughout the world.

Pfizer Global Pharmaceuticals (PGP)
PGP is responsible for the distribution of prescription medicines. Thus, the department ensures that patients and doctors all over the world have access to a large number of medicines that play an important role in the fight against diseases and disorders. PGP EuCan does this for the European and Canadian markets.

The offer of successful medicines is very large. Pfizer has 5 medicines in the world's top 20 best-selling medicines.

Pfizer Animal Health (PAH) focuses on the distribution of vaccines, medicines, and care products for livestock and house pets. Currently, Pfizer Animal Health distributes products for more than 30 different animal species.
